only down 0.5 lbs from last week, which is a little disappointing. i've also been really bad about journaling my food. i've been keeping track of my points mentally, and i know that several days last week i didn't eat my full 22. but, i've lost 5 lbs total, which is about a quarter of what i wanted to lose. so that's not so bad, i guess.
in our meeting yesterday, one woman said that i'd been her inspiration all week, and had motivated her to get out of bed (at 3 am!!) every morning to ride her bike. i thought that was fantastic, that i'd motivated someone. so i told her that her getting up at the buttcrack of dawn would be my motivation to not make excuses about not exercising. i still don't know about getting up early to run in the morning--i already get up at 5 to be at work for 6, and if i had to run and shower before work, i'd have to get up at 4. and go to work with wet hair, else get up at 3:30 so i'd have a half an hour to blowdry it. since i already don't sleep well, i don't know that that's a good option for me. but i could get up at 5:30 and do a little bit of pilates in the mornings, and maybe run in the evenings (if though it's over 100 degrees F still...). at any rate, i've got to do something.
